Happy Wedding Anniversary to us!

A quick blog this morning to mark our very first wedding anniversary! As I look out from the kebab flat onto the ground frost on the communal gardens, it's hard to imagine that this time last year we were got aboard the Queen Mary 2 which would have just docked into the port in Barbados. And later on that day Phil & I were married on the beach and what a fantastic day we had. It seems so long ago. Phil is coming home tonight so at least we will be together for some of our anniversary. Although having just typed that, there is a very strong chance that he won't make it home in time. Yesterday he phoned me to say that his engine light had come on and wouldn't go off. Now he's had this problem on and off for a while but the light always go off after a while but not this time. Phil looked in his car manual and it said that if the engine management light comes on then you should stop the car immediately and call a garage! To make matters worse when he opened his curtain window this morning he saw that Chard has had 6 inches of snow fall overnight. He phoned me when he go to work to say that he was the only car that got up the steep hill and hence was the first person ino work. With both the snow and the engine light the odds are stacked against him every making it back to MK. BUT if anyone can do it, it will be Phil!

Cheers guys & Shirley! Apparently the snow has melted in Chard so just keep your fingers crossed the car can hold out!
